Board of Directors- As a nonprofit, we are required to have a minimum of three board members (president, secretary and treasurer) who help keep the train on the tracks (so to speak). Board chairs meet 4x per year and help focus goals to maintain the TAILS mission and help steer the organization in the right direction.

Community Outreach- This position is great for volunteers who are fun, creative and tech savvy! This includes maintaining social media pages and researching pertinent community events for TAILS to attend such as parades, fairs, volunteer days, etc. where we can get the word out about who we are and what we do in a fun and interactive way.

Sponsorship x2- TAILS sponsors are very important way in which we fund our programs and services throughout the year. This job would ideally be lead by two people; one to reach out to new potential sponsors within the community and one who would help maintain and support our relationships with current and/or past sponsors.

Grant Writing- Our grant writing position is another important way we fund our programs and services. This would include researching and applying for eligible grants, community giving funds and some sponsorships available to nonprofits in the animal care/pet industry. Most of this position can be done at home via computer.

Fundraising- Fundraising can be an incredibly fun and creative position as it requires outside-the-box thinking! This position helps bring in much-needed funds to be distributed to our many programs, services and maintenance costs. The sky's the limit when it comes to fundraising ideas whether focused on one or two events or many smaller, passive endeavors.

Programs and Services- Below is a list of the types of things we offer the community as a nonprofit. Details are provided below about what each program volunteer should expect:
